I have found that one of the easiest ways to add greens in (and unnecessary calories out) is to swap grains for greens whenever I can. Although whole grains provide nutrition, they can also add excess calories and may cause us to feel bloated. And think about it, aren’t breads really just the vessel to get what you really want into your mouth (like that juicy burger)?
To feel less stuffed post-meal and increase your healthy greens, try using large romaine lettuce leaves to replace hamburger buns, taco shells, and sandwich bread.
