Welcome to Day 20 of the Spartan Running Training Plan.
This is it, Spartan. Today is your last long run of your running program. You are 7 days away from re-testing your 5k PR. Use today to sink into your pace time and to get comfortable with going for distance. This run is supposed to be long to encourage you to maintain a lower speed so once you hit that 5k course, you can push your limits and hit your fastest pace to date.
Running Training Plan Workout: Day 20
The Warm Up
10 minute Jog
Complete a 6-mile run.
The Cool Down
Foam roll any muscles you feel excessive soreness or tightness.
