Early Morning: Wake Up With Joe
The state of Vermont is now in lockdown, so Spartan founder and CEO Joe De Sena is adapting accordingly. Hint: That means morning hikes for the kids. The crux of Joe’s segment today: Seek simplicity, hold the essentials, and maintain the same standards, even amidst crisis.
Mid-Morning: Boost Your Uphill Running Performance
Two-time world champion and OCR legend Lindsay Webster welcomed us into her home for a workout aimed at boosting your uphill running performance. This at-home workout is comprised of four exercises: box step-ups, front lunges, split jump squats, and squat jumps.
Lunch: Sweet Potato Gnocchi
Spartan pro and registered dietician Corinna Coffin took us inside her kitchen and, in keeping with the week’s sweet potato theme — on Monday she made sweet potato pancakes — she walked us through her sweet potato gnocchi recipe. All you need: sweet potatoes, eggs, a tiny bit of salt, and flour.
Evening: A 30-Minute Meditation
The one and only Eric Paskel returned for a 30-minute meditation dedicated to those in transition. If you’re feeling unsure about your professional life and finances, as so many of us are these days, this conscious sit will help you center yourself and avoid “spirited debt.”
