Logan Paul Is Confident He Could Take 'Old' Mike Tyson in a Fight

What happens when a YouTube personality gets in the ring with a boxing legend?
We found out on June 6, when Logan Paul fought five-division world champion and undefeated former pro Floyd Mayweather Jr. in an exhibition match in Miami Gardens, Florida. Paul, 26, went the distance with the 44-year-old Hall of Famer, lasting eight rounds in a draw that reportedly sold approximately 1 million purchases on pay-per-view.
Might another iconic fighter be next on Paul's boxing tour?
On the influencer's podcast, Impaulsive, he revealed that he thinks he could take "old" Mike Tyson.

"My lawyer mentioned it, and he's like, 'No, Tyson will rip your head off. You don't stand a chance,'" he said. "I'm like, 'Bro, I just went through all of this. You can't tell me I can't beat Mike Tyson.' Bro, he's old old."
Tyson, 54, might be "old" for an elite athlete and pro fighter, but he's still in fighting shape. Arguably the greatest boxer of all-time in his prime, Iron Mike — who is 28 years Paul's senior — came out of retirement to fight four-division world champion Roy Jones Jr. on Nov. 28, 2020. Like the Paul-Mayweather Jr. bout, the Tyson-Jones Jr. fight went the full eight rounds and concluded in a draw.
Tyson, who went 50-6 with 44 knockouts during his career and is the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, stands 5'10" and weighs 220 pounds. Paul, who lost his only professional fight — he fell to rapper and fellow YouTuber KSI in a split decision back in 2019 — has the height advantage, at 6'1", but is significantly lighter (189 pounds).
Paul stunned a lot of people, including Tyson, when he went the distance with Mayweather. Tyson had predicted that Mayweather would win easily, and was extremely impressed with how the challenger handled himself. He admitted that he was dead wrong. In fact, he FaceTimed Paul after the match to congratulate him, and repeatedly told him that he was proud of him and had underestimated his chances.

Though no winner was declared in the Paul-Mayweather fight, the metrics skewed heavily in the latter's favor. According to CompuBox, which tracks punches in fights all over the world, Mayweather landed 40.2 percent of his punches (43 of 107) compared to just 12.9 percent for Paul (28 of 217).
